The Jesuit High School St. John Berchmans Altar Server Society is set up with a few goals in mind. Firstly, it is to identify students who are willing to help participate in the liturgical life of the school by offering their time and talents at the various liturgical functions. Secondly, the organization provides an opportunity for students at Jesuit High School to better understand the Mass and the different elements of the Church environment. Lastly, it is to help those students deepen their prayer through the different liturgies and so deepen their love of the Church, the sacraments and of our Lord.

Servers partake in the school Masses, blessings, adorations, and other liturgical events.
