Six Jesuit High Schools traveled to Florida during Easter break to join Jesuit High School of Tampa in its first Jesuit Spring Break Invitational tournament. The other Jesuit high schools in the March 25 – 28th contest included: Fordham Preparatory (Bronx, NY), Gonzaga College High School (Washington, D.C.), Regis Jesuit (Aurora, CO), Regis (NYC), Rockhurst (Kansas City, MO), and Seattle Preparatory (Seattle, WA). Tampa’s Berkeley Preparatory was the only local and non-Jesuit school to participate.

The documentary film, "Xavier - Missionary and Saint" (video clip - requires Quicktime), was produced by Jeff Johnson, S.J. and Jeremy Zipple, S.J. Mr. Johnson, who wrote the film’s script, is currently an English teacher at Jesuit High School in Tampa, Florida. Jesuit junior baseball players Nick Lockwood and Jimmy Falla have verbally committed to USF, Tigers coach Richie Warren confirmed Tuesday. Both Lockwood, an infielder, and Falla, an outfielder, are expected to play big roles for the Tigers this season.
