Congratulations Swim Team on 10th Consecutive District Win!
October 31, 2008. Despite going into the meet as 26-point underdogs to Berkeley, the Jesuit Swim Team clawed its way to victory at Districts last night, by just a few breathtaking points. 

It was truly a team effort as everyone stepped it up to grab the win. Mat D'Amico, Christian Davila, Rafael Migoyo, and TJ Muscaro contributed valuable points to the score.  Cory Arendt, Logan Beckman, Nick Dwyer, and Connor Bowen made it into the Top 16 to rack up some much-needed points.  Let us not forget our diver, Matt Angeles, who scored 5th overall, gaining us a foothold before the swimming ever began. Jon Carter and Chase Goodwin stepped up their game and made it into the Top 8. Outstanding swims from Luiz Lima, Dylan Attal, Tom Macina, and John Simon helped solidify our position.  Vinny Donnelly, of course, dominated his events and freshman Chris Swanson pulled off the most spectacular race of the night by dropping an obnoxious amount of time in his 100-yard breaststroke and outreaching his opponent in the most clutch manner we have ever witnessed!

Congratulations for making this the tenth consecutive year that we have not lost a duel meet or Districts.  Good job Jesuit Swim Team and good luck at Regions next week!
