Jesuit Soccer Team Honored as First FHSAA 4A Academic Team Champion
Jesuit High School’s 2006-2007 soccer team was named the recipient of the Florida High School Athletic Association’s 4A Academic Team Champion Award. The state recognition honors teams in each of FHSAA’s 20 sanctioned sports and 11 recognized sports for teamwork, not only in athletic competition, but also in aggregate, unweighted grade point average performance.
This was the first year for FHSAA’s Academic Team Champion Awards Program, which makes Jesuit’s team the first winners in the 4A soccer divisions.
Congratulations to our basketball and soccer student-athletes and coaches!
