Cross Country Preseason Conditioning 2013
Cross Country conditioning for incoming freshmen is every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday from July 1 – July 24. Meet promptly on the Jesuit track at 7:00am with running shoes and shorts. We are usually finished by 8:30am. All athletic forms must be submitted prior to participating. See the links to the athletic forms below. Please keep completed copies of the forms for your records.
Morning workouts will resume on Monday, August 5. Once classes begin, practices will be held after school on Monday - Thursday from 4:00 – 5:30pm, and Saturday mornings from 7:00am – 8:30am.
The regular Cross Country season begins in mid-August and ends during the first week of November (Richard’s Run for Life). Those intending to compete in the District, Region and State Meets will train through the third week in November. To make the team, incoming freshmen must be able to run one mile in under 8:00 by September 1 and commit to attending all practices and meets.
