Honors and AP Courses
Placement into honors and AP courses is a decision made by Jesuit High School faculty. Each department defines the various criteria that are used, and student eligibility is determined in the spring of the previous school year. Students may decline a position in an honors or AP course, but that decision must be made by the last day of classes of the second semester. Questions regarding honors and AP placement should be directed to the Assistant Principal for Academics who will direct the question to the appropriate department head. The final decision rests with the department.
PLEASE NOTE: The nationally administered AP exam is a course requirement for all AP classes at Jesuit.
