Community Service Documentation and Deadlines

Documentation: All community service hours should be documented on the school’s Community Service Report Forms. Report Forms are available outside the Office of Campus Ministry and Community Service, or can be downloaded from the tab at lower left.

PLEASE NOTE:
1. Unless specified by the Director of Community Service, one hour of service equals one hour of credit. No student or project supervisor may decide that a project deserves an extra number of hours credited. To maintain fairness and consistency for everyone, additional crediting will be decided (in very few instances) only by the Director of Community Service.
2. Travel time is not credited for service hours.

Deadlines will not be extended. Reporting of hours is SOLELY the student’s responsibility. Hours completed but not turned in by the proper date will not be counted.

2010-2011 Reporting Deadlines:
September 10 (for Summer/August service)
October 1 (for September service)
November 5 (for October service)
December 3 (for November service)
January 7 (for December service)
February 5 (for January service)
March 4 (for February service)
April 8 (for March service)
May 17* (for April/May service)

* FINAL due date for all hours for 2010-2011.
