Documentation and Deadlines

Documentation: All community service hours should be documented on the school’s Community Service Report Forms. Report Forms are available outside the Office of Campus Ministry and Community Service, or can be downloaded from this web page.

PLEASE NOTE:
1. Unless otherwise specified by the Director of Community Service, one hour of service equals one hour of credit. No student or project supervisor may decide that a project deserves an extra number of hours credited. To keep accounting of hours fair and consistent for everyone, additional crediting will be decided (in very few instances) only by the Director of Community Service.
2. Travel time is not credited for service hours.

Deadlines: Reporting of hours is SOLELY the student’s responsibility. All hours completed but not turned in by the proper deadline will not be counted. Deadlines will not be extended.

September 7 (for Summer/August service)
October 5 (for September service)
November 2 (for October service)
December 7 (for November service)
January 4 (for December service)
February 1 (for January service)
March 6 (for February service)
April 4 (for March service)
May 12 (for April service)
