The following is a list of Internet sites to assist students with college plans. These links will provide info on specific colleges, applications, financial aid information, college and scholarship searches, career information, and much more. You can also register for the ACT and SAT online, file for financial aid and download the Common Application.
Unless otherwise noted, none of these sites charges a fee for the use of their information. If you find this not to be the case, please notify Jesuit’s Counseling Center.

ACT
This link provides information on the ACT and includes online registration, test tips, interactive sample questions, FAQs, test strategy, and a financial aid estimator.

The College Board
The link for this professional association of high schools and colleges includes SAT I and SAT II info and online registration, a free scholarship search, and ExPan college search (for a fee).

Florida Center for Advising and Academic Support
This State of Florida run site allows you to easily apply to all State of Florida universities. It also has career resources, financial aid information, and Florida Bright Futures requirements.
FLORIDA CHOICES
This site contains information on over 600 careers, 3,500 educational programs, scholarship and financial aid money, and an interest inventory.
Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
This site will connect you to the FAFSA, allow you to create your PIN number for electronically signing your FAFSA, and contains the Federal Code Numbers for all of the colleges and universities.

National Association of College Admission Counseling
The site for this professional association for college admission personnel and high school college counselors includes the association's statement of principles of good practice. This includes a listing of student rights and responsibilities in the admissions process.
National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators
Find a free guide to financial aid, scam alert, and several scholarship searches here.
NCAA Clearing House
You can register for the Clearing House, check your status, and view eligibility requirements. Remember to print two copies of the Release Form, sign both copies, and bring them to the Counseling Center at Jesuit.

Selective Service
Information and online registration are provided on this link. All males are required by law to register with Selective Service within 30 days of their 18th birthday. Failure to register may lead to ineligibility for student loans and grants for college, job training, and government jobs.
